The Bully with the Pulpit

yesterday before the press, the president read off a series of poll statistics; 54% want an assault weapons ban, 48% want a limit on magazine size, etc. He has done this many times in the past with many different issues.

Now we face a fiscal cliff entirely of His and Congress' making, and he has made the political calculation that if he forces us over it, polls say that the majority of Americans will blame Republicans.

THIS IS NOT LEADERSHIP! A leader does not lead by polls, then give the public what it thinks it wants. A leader does what needs to be done, what is right, whether popular or not. A leader make the tough decisions. He does not make childish, petulant demands, then go on a campaign tour to whip up public sentiment for his off the cuff idea.

A PRESIDENT would realize that it is congress who writes the laws, and spends the money. A President would  like, Bush, Clinton, Bush, and Reagan before him, lay out the broad idea, then work with congress, even the hostile ones to get his priorities passed.

Our present wannabe dictator, does not seem to understand that, and evidently four years have not taught him what a lifetime failed to prepare him for.

Give a moments thanks for the Rich

Yes, I said Thank you to the rich. For the uninformed, the top 1% of income earners EARN 16.93% of the income but PAY 38.67% of the Federal income tax. The top 10% pay 74.47% of the federal income taxes. This money allows Congress to spend in a manner that would embarrass a drunken sailor.

But beyond that, they create jobs. Sam Moore Walton founded a company named Wal Mart. Wal mart has saved the poor and middle class billions by providing reasonable quality at a rock bottom price. Wal Mart is so efficient that when it builds a store, grocery prices in the surrounding areas FALL by 22% thus saving money for people that do not shop at wal mart. Clothing store prices fall by 14%.

Steve Jobs, had a vision and in working doggedly to pursue it gave us products that make our lives easier. That increase our productivity, he fundamentally transformed how we buy and listen to music.

Beyond the companies these men create, they are the most charitable people in Earths history. $330 BILLION in charitable foundations created from this wealth.

Even their money creates jobs, products, and small businesses. It is invested in other companies, start-ups, new technology, business expansions, ALL of which create jobs for everyday Americans.

Give a moments thanks because without these successful people, the government would not have money to buy votes, hand out charity, and you would not have a company to go to work for to earn your living.

No one to blame... but himself.

President Obama may find it might have been better to lose than to win in the coming months, as he must confront the consequences of his own fiscal policies.

No matter who won, the economy is likely to improve somewhat over the next two years. Not due to any politicians policy, but due to simple economics, and the American spirit. We have been down long enough. But, President Obama must now confront staggering debt, with no end in sight, a looming debt ceiling 6 months earlier than expected, trillion dollar deficits as far as the eye can see, a bankrupt social security and medicare system, and the staggering tax burden of his own Obamacare.

Given his lack of seriousness about dealing with the economy, jobs, and debt in his first term, and his reticence about describing his second term plans, combined with his pronouncement that his first priority in his second term is immigration reform, not jobs, or debt, He may find it would have been easier to be on the golf course laughing at Romney's efforts, than to be responsible for his own, with no predecessor to blame.

Liberal Media Hypocrisy

Under Bush, Cindy Sheehan was feted for two years.

Under Obama, Tyrone Woods dad is not even being reported.

From 2004-2008 we got daily body counts of our military dead.

From 2009-2012 No reports. A quick Lexis-Nexis search shows 7,388 body count stories during Bush second term, 32 During Obama's.

Under Bush, Bush lied people died became a mantra, with no lie.

Under Obama, he DID lie, and our Ambassador and three others were murdered, and the MSM largely ignores it.

Under Bush, when gas prices neared $4.00 it was Bush's fault, daily stories, blaming him.

Under Obama when gas prices hit $5.00 in some places, NO STORIES BLAMING HIM!

Under Bush, the level of Debt was unpatriotic.

Under Obama it was necessary, and Bush's fault.

Under Bush 4.2% unemployment was unacceptable.

Under Obama, 7.9% is SUCCESS!

Obama has gone 4 years without a budget or written spending plan.

The Press hounds Romney for not detailing EVERY detail of his spending plan.

Obama's Unique Selling Proposition

Anyone with a Business, sales, or marketing background understands the unique selling proposition. It is the Unique feature of your product that will make customers choose yours, over your competitors.

That having been said, So far, The USP of Obama's campaign has been;

1.) He was to incompetent to fix the economy.

Obama has illustrated this with a steady stream of blame shifting, responsibility evasions. 53 "economic stimulus" bills passed, all utter failures. Endless speeches, very little constructive action.

2.) I have been powerless.(read weak)

This comes to us through endless blame Bush claims over the last 4 years. This lone man, who the left demonized as an idiot, led by the nose by the dreaded Neo-Cons, was SO powerful that even four years after leaving office he prevents Obama from passing legislation, fixing the economy, creating jobs, trimming the debt and deficit. During four years of chopping cedar on his ranch in Texas, he effortlessly thwarts the will of the Messiah, the smartest, most eloquent man ever to occupy the White House.

3.) I lack knowledge and experience.

This is evident in his foreign policy failures. His dumping of a cowardly bully dictator in Libya to usher in Al Qaeda and the Muslim Brotherhood. His standing by and doing nothing while watching our ambassador and three others die a horrible death, unavenged. And you wonder why the Muslim Brotherhood and AlQeada thinks America to weak to punish them for their actions.

4.) I am lazy.

We get this from the FACTS that he has attended less than HALF his intelligence briefings, he has not met with his Jobs council for 9 months, He has not met with his cabinet for 13 months. From his comments about debate prep being a drag. Claims from others about his comments of "knowing more" than those advising him.

He has run a campaign refusing to acknowledge or accept responsibility to his own policy failures, or to lay out a detailed plan for his second term, all the while demonizing Romney for a daily changing slate of imagined perfidities.

Deconstructing Obama's $5 trillion Lie

This claim came from the Liberal Tax Policy Center. They fell into the same governmental  economist trap of static math. They ignored history.

Economics is about incentives. Change the incentives, and you change the revenue stream. In 1921, at the urging of Andrew Mellon, President Harding lowered the tax rate on incomes over $100,000. In 1921 the rate was 73%, the government collected $700 million. 30% of which was paid by these rich. AFTER lowering the rate to 24% on incomes over $100k, they collected $1.1 billion, 65% of which were paid by these rich. This pattern was repeated in the '60's, '80's, and 2000's. Yet IGNORED by the left.

They prefer to think that a 10% cut, removes 10% form the revenue, ignoring that the lower rate leaves more money in the hands of people who will spend it, invest it, create jobs, broaden the tax base, resulting in more taxpayers paying more income. Even for the rich, it incentivizes them to remove money form non productive tax shelters and invest it in productive activity, resulting in more income, more taxpayers, and higher tax revenues, not  to mention a higher share of those taxes being paid by the very rich that saw their rate cut.

Who deserves your vote?

 HOw do you vote for a liar? President Obama 3 days ago, at the UN was STILL claiming that a video caused the embassy attacks, STILL claiming that the Benghazi attack was a "spontaneous protest that got out of control". Yet we find out that the Administration knew 24 hours after the attack that it was a preplanned military style terrorist attack against an unprotected embassy, And that they were specifically warned three days in advance, yet did nothing. He told us that the Stimulus would create 3.5 million jobs it's first year. He has yet to create that many jobs TO DATE. Yes, I know Obama says he has created 4.5 million jobs but that, too is a lie, according to the BLS. He claims he is only responsible for 10% of the $5.85 trillion he has added to the debt, yet he has increased spending by $1 trillion per year. If re-elected Obama stands to inherit a worse economy than he inherited first term, and this one will be of his own making, who will he blame then? ATM's? Kiosk's? Automation? Bush? Romney? the Rich? The Europeans? The Chinese? Does a serial liar deserve your vote?

The Crisis No one is reporting

We all know about the 4 years of $1 trillion + deficits. We all know about the $5.8 trillion in new debt accumulated in under 4 years by President obama. We all know about the QE1, QE2, And now QE3. BUT, what has gone largely unreported is the fact that NO ONE is buying our DEBT anymore! For the last three years the Federal Reserve has bought our debt. They now hold more than 60% of it.

This is akin to your right hand loaning your left hand money. But, IT GETS WORSE. They are printing the money they are using to buy our debt. This means that they are creating from nothing, money which we have to give value, to buy our debt, to finance our spending binge. This is a house of cards built upon a house of smaller cards.

But, It gets even worse. The Fed sets interest rates. This means it prints money, buys our debt, and sets the rate that it will be paid upon that debt. Creating an asset class out of nothing.

But it gets worse. Because Congress has abdicated it's fiduciary responsibility, it has allowed the Fed to effectively replace the Treasury, the Interbank lending system, the Monetary system, and Congressional oversight and authority.

Ladies and Gentlemen We have created our own slavemasters while fashioning the very shackles with which they will bind us. THANK YOU President Obama, and Ben Bernanke. In another century they would be drawn and quartered.

A Tale of two Conventions

Last week we saw the Republican convention. Lots of uplifting speeches, all speaking of a vision for America, that hearkened back to her founding. personal freedom, personal responsibility, freedom to pursue your dreams. Many personal stories or individual success. As well ans many personal stories of the Nominee, Mitt Romney, and his personal generosity, and how he has personally helped those far less fortunate than himself. It was ironic, that the Liberal Doyenne of media MSNBC, cut away from EVERY minority speaker, but what can you expect from the media arm of the DNC?

Contrast that with the disorganized, leaderless mess that we are witnessing this week in Charlotte. The DNC opened to numerous spokespeople trying to deflect the perennial question of presidential politics, Are you better off now than 4 years ago? They appeared unprepared for this simple question. Moving one to the noticeable divide in the convention, prior to TV cameras(prior to 9pm) speakers engaged in Liberal red meat; Abortion on demand, God out of government, Forced unionism(card check), more government spending, more stimulus, more government. AFTER 9pm, NONE of that was there, it was rhetoric about class warfare, generalities of reduced debt, and deficits. Hollow promises of a better 4 years to come with more of the same ideas that have strangled the last four.

THEN the floor vote to re insert the word God, ONCE in the platform, as well as a declaration that Jerusalem is the capitol of Israel. The party ACTUALLY BOOED those two motions. THEN the party is forced to move Obama's acceptance speech from a 74,000 seat stadium to a 21,000 seat arena, because despite busing, and giving away tickets they were unable to fill the stadium.

Ladies and Gentlemen, THIS is you contrast for the next 4 years. More bumbling, disorganization, ineffectual promises, with no attempt to deliver upon them, or a written, steadfast plan that does not lie, or sugarcoat the problems we face? Straight, Adult talk about our Debt, Deficits, Saving Social Security, and Medicare, or inaction allowing these programs to die by their very own Mathematics?

The Hypocrisy Campaign

I said in a previous letter, the President Obama, being unable to run on his record, would mount the "most vicious, anti-intellectual, lying smear campaign ever seen for President." He is proving my prescience.

So far the Obama campaign and it's surrogates have implied, hinted, and in some case called Mitt Romney a; Liar, Felon, tax Cheat, Outsourcer, Destroyer of companies, purveyor of E.Coli, and now an Accessory to Murder.

ALL of the above are lies, but even more than the willingness of the President to engage in a campaign of lies, it is the rife hypocrisy that is galling. ALL of this comes from the man who decried "the politics of personal destruction", even as he engaged in it. Who promised to be a "uniter", even as he assiduously divided the country. Who Calls for Romney to "be an open book", as he has spent millions to hide every aspect of his past, other than his own spin on it. Who claims to be an "insourcer", even as he has used tax payer money to fund jobs overseas. Who condones the tax cheat lie, as he has staffed his admin. with Tax cheats. Who allows his campaign to call Mitt a felon, even as they apparently violate Federal Election laws.

And the Media are willing accomplices, allowing this to continue, while giving him a pass, on his own perfidities. When we go to the polls in November, ask yourself; Do you want a whining, lying, blame everyone else for his own mistakes, leaderless administration, Or can we evaluate our candidates on relative merits?

Obama's JOBS RECORD

IN Feb. 2009, Jul. 2009, Dec. 2009, Apr.2010, Jul 2010, Aug. 2010, Aug 2011, Nov. 2011, Jan. 2012 Obama claimed "I will not rest until everyone who wants one has a job"

Since the first time making that proclamation, Obama has spent $5.7 trillion stimulating job growth. The result; 1.1 million FEWER jobs than when he passed stimulus.

Obama has not met with his cabinet in over a year. he has had "too much on his plate" To meet with his jobs council for the last 7 months. BUT in that time he HAS had time to attend 119 fundraisers, make 134 speeches, and play 39 rounds of golf.

I guess it would be MORE accurate to say that it is not about having time to work on jobs, more that he is not interested in JOBS. His actions demonstrate that he is more interested in; getting re-elected, and playing golf, than creating jobs.

Mr. President Come November, it will be your RECORD that will defeat you.

Thought Police alive and well in Boston

70 years ago, Ayn Rand wrote of the "Office of the Moral Conditioner", this was a government office that made certain that people had the right thoughts, and loyalties. She wrote it as the most outlandish example of the logical conclusion of progressive policies, admitting that it could never happen, probably. Well Now it has.

Mayor Mennino's letter warning Chick-Fil-A that it will find it difficult if not impossible to obtain permits and licenses until the owner changes his OPINION on same sex marriage, is reprehensible. He claims Boston is too tolerant, and inclusive to allow someone with that opinion to open a business here. Consider THAT oxymoron for a moment. The Mayor has brought the authority of government to bear upon a company because one of it's officers has an opinion that the mayor does not like. Yup, Mumbles, THAT is Liberal tolerance.

Welcome to the office of the Moral Conditioner, so much for diversity of thought.

Yes, Mr. President, I BUILT IT!

Barack Obama does not think any business owner built his business. "Someone else made that happen".

WRONG BARACK! I BUILT IT!

According to the IRS there are 27.6 million businesses in America. 21 million of those are self employed individuals, no employees. Another 6 million have less than 10 employees. These businesses create 87% of the jobs in this country. I own my own business, My wife owns her own business. In addition she works full time, and coaches middle school cheer, and college cheer. In addition to my business I run a non profit, and do all the billing, admin, and legal work for her company. WE BUILT OUR BUSINESS! WE had the idea, WE got the training, WE leased the buildings,WE have made them successful. All YOU have done is got in the way, and made it more difficult to hire and make money. Our parents, and us paid for our education, we paid for the roads, police, fire, and given that the top 10% pay 70% of the taxes, we paid vastly more than the rest of society.

These are societal structures available to everyone. The business owner sacrifices much to own their own business. Time from families, long work hours, every penny scrounged from the budget to feed the business, hours spent in governmental compliance.

Mr. President you would know nothing about that type of sacrifice, having never drawn a private paycheck. Government is not what has made this country great, it is the men and women who sacrifice to start businesses, and employee people. The people you are demonizing are the ones paying your salary. They pay for everything! They pay 70% of the federal budget, as well as the state and local spending. THEY are the ones on the hook for the debt you have racked up.

I would appreciate it if you simply said THANK YOU! If you are incapable of that perhaps when you retire in November you can get a job, and figure out how this country actually works.

Reasons to Vote for Obama this year.

Here are the reasons to vote for Obama this year;

10.) Vote for Obama because Freedom of Speech is fine, as long as those Right Wingers are kept in check, and they say the right things.

9.) You believe it is outrageous for oil companies to make 8% profit, but it is GREAT for the Government to make 29% on that same gallon of gas.

8.) You BELIEVE that the same people who can not predict Tomorrow's weather are CORRECT that the polar ice caps will melt if you do not buy a Government Motors Volt!

7.) You Believe the Government will spend your money better than YOU do.

6.) You believe that keeping millions of innocent babies alive is a matter of choice, but killing convicted murderers, and rapists is flat out WRONG!

5.) You LIKE the $16 trillion in debt, and believe Obama's promise to ADD another $10.8 trillion to it!

4.) You BELIEVE that increasing taxes on the rich by 30% will incentivize them to work harder for YOUR benefit.

3.) You BELIEVE that is is UNFAIR for those evil Rich to pay 70% of the taxes while you pay NOTHING. They SHOULD PAY EVERYTHING THEY MAKE, and be GRATEFUL for the opportunity to do so.

2.) You BELIEVE it was abominable for Bush to propose allowing people to KEEP 2% of their social security to fund their own retirement, but it was GREAT How Obama cut payroll taxes by 2%.

And the Number One reason to vote for Obama, is;
1.) You believe YOU are entitled to FREE Health Care, and EVERYONE ELSE must pay for it!

Romney deserves respect.

Gov. Romney, this week, spoke before one of the most hostile groups to him, in the Nation. The NAACP convention. He did not, condescend to them as Hillary did with he fake MLK accent; "Ah, ain't in no way tahred", or as Obama does when speaking before a Black audience, slip into his Selma twang, No, Romney, was himself. he spoke as he does anywhere, and delivered his message of fiscal responsibility, as well as personal responsibility even in the face of a few boos. he did so to a packed house, unlike VP Biden, and also unlike Biden he received a standing ovation at the end.

Then came the media spin from the left. The democrat assertions that referring to his inner circle as a "kitchen cabinet" was racist code language, ""You cannot possibly talk about jobs for black people at the level he's coming from. He's talking about entrepreneurship, savings accounts — black people can barely find a way to get back and forth from work.""

Notice that the racist condescension is mostly to be found on the left, with the plantation mentality that the Blacks could not possibly succeed on their own merit, without uncle Sam's help. Romney's message was one of leveling the playing field to allow more personal achievement. A message reminiscent of Martin Luther King.

BY WHAT RIGHT?

Daily, I hear Democrats call for; the rich to pay "their fair share", For more spending, for more social programs, for higher taxes from others, notably the aforementioned rich. My Question for my Loony Lefty Friends is, BY WHAT RIGHT? By what right do you have any claim to money earned by someone else? By what right is someone else responsible for your; health, wealth, living expenses, education, etc.? Understand that your lifestyle, and the benefits you receive are a gift from those very rich you and Obama choose to demonize. Currently the top 10% pay 70.42% of the taxes. This means that they are currently paying THEIR fair share AND YOURS! EVERY adult in America has the responsibility to provide for themselves and their children to the best of their ability. Charity is voluntary. To quote Ayn Rand; "The world is perishing in an orgy of self sacrifice, when it is precisely the self which CAN NOT be sacrificed" For those of you whining for more government handouts, remember, The government does not run by volunteerism, but by compulsion.

Marx Rising

Karl Marx must be gleefully watching the European Debacle unfold. This weekend we saw the EU asking Germany to borrow on their citizens credit at 8% to loan money to Spain to prop it's outrageous public welfare system, where Germany will earn 3% if it is lucky enough that Spain actually decides to pay it's debts for a change.

There is a lesson here for those champions of Obamanomics. You can only borrow and print as long as people are willing to buy your debt. Unfortunately for America that time ended in 2011. Since that time the Federal Reserve has become the Nations Largest Creditor, taking China's place. This means that Foreign Nations no longer see America as a good enough economy to invest in, We are resorting to buying our own debt, under Obama. This is the economic equivalent of throwing a mortar round on the bonfire, then pouring Jet fuel on top. Greece and Spain here we come!

While our spineless politicians in Washington, from the President on down bury their collective heads in the sand, and whine about the folly of trimming our debt. It is disengenuous at best, an outright lie at worst, for the President to claim that "“I’m running to pay down our debt in a way that’s balanced and responsible. My opponent won’t admit it, Since I’ve been president, federal spending has risen at the lowest pace in nearly 60 years. Think about that.” After he increased federal spending by $1 trillion+ per year, and added $5.6 trillion to the debt.

Conservatives are from Mars, Liberals are from Venus

It is not just ideology that stands in marked contrast, but the very lexicon. For Liberals it is intentions that matter most, regardless of results. Conservatives look at the Results of government programs, Regardless of intention.

Liberals think the Great Society programs were resounding successes. They tell the story of providing "succor", and "hope" for the poor. But, LBJ's War on Poverty, has not accomplished any part of it's proclaimed goals. There is ACTUALLY more poverty now, than existed in 1964. The Great Society social programs that were supposed to lift Blacks out of poverty and into the American Dream, have, in fact, achieved the opposite. In 1960, 62% of black families were two parent households, and self supporting, Today that is down to 29%. Black illegitimacy, in 1960, was 21%, it is now 70%. Black teen unemployment in 1960 was 26%, it is now 49%.

Conservatives see these results as failure. Liberals do not see these results, choosing, instead to focus on the WISH, that intentions trump reality.

It is the same for Social Security. Liberals claim this to be the most spectacularly successful government program ever. They ignore the underfunding from it's inception. Ida may fuller was the first SS recipient. She had paid $22.74 into the system, yet received $22,887.56 from it before she died. Those collecting today, paid into the system at much lower rates than todays workers. thanks to changes in the system made by LBJ, every year since 1968, Congress has spent every dollar received in social security payments, replacing it with IOU's. Liberals cling to this "trust fund" fantasy, claiming the program is solvent until 2037(even the SSA recently revised this down to 2033). Conservatives look at the $18 trillion in unfunded liabilities and say, "but there is not CASH to pay beneficiaries". 

What has changed is the the two ideologies now effectively speak different languages, and until we BOTH face reality, as it is, with neither spin, nor varnish, fixing our economy is impossible. Liberals are currently like the Alcoholic that refuses to recognize that he has a problem. Until they are willing to face our economic realities, and answer the question; Where does the money come from? There can be no solution.

Rewarding Failure

President Obama wants another 4 years. In fact he wants it so bad that he checked out on being President last year, choosing to the only thing at which he REALLY excels; CAMPAIGNING!

And not just ANY campaign, but the most vicious, lying, anti- intellectual smear campaign ever run for the office of President. AND WHY? Because his record is one of FAILURE!

He claims unemployment is improving, but it is only doing so by ceasing to count the chronically unemployed.

Obamacare is such a failure that he is using Taxpayer dollars($8 BILLION of them) to hide from seniors the fact that their medicare advantage plans are going the way of the dinosaur, under his program.

He is jetting around to universities to promise college students that he cares about their student loan debt. He stated that the average student loan debt is $25,000. OMG! Mr. President do you realize that under your brilliant leadership EVERY MAN, WOMAN, AND CHILD in America is on the hook for $50,048 in Federal Debt? $1,095,697 per person if you kick in the unfunded liabilities?

This pathetic pandering is the best he can do? After adding $5.4 trillion to the debt, ignoring the 88,000,000 people out of work, watching people you ignore drop off the labor rolls, Watching silently as 5.2 million people have lost their homes under your watch, Watching unemployment rise, and chronic unemployment skyrocket; Mr. President, your economic policies are Killing us.

Enjoy retirement, on my dime. It is WORTH IT!

The Prevaricator- in- Chief

President obama has a problem with the truth. Yesterday the President moved from blaming the Chinese for Solyndra going bankrupt, to claiming with a straight face that "This was not our program, per se. Congress -- Democrats and Republicans -- put together a loan guarantee program". The only problem is that is a lie. Solnydra, and the rest of the green debacle was funded out of Obama's 2009 Stimulus bill, Which no republican voted for. Months ago, his spokesperson claimed it was a Bush era program. Again, this is a lie. The Bush Administration explicitly rejected Solyndra due to it's "financial instability", and it's "cost structure". However, after George Kaiser, Solyndra Financier, and Obama campaign bundler extraordinaire made numerous visits to the White House, Solyndra gets fast tracked, to it's $538 million payday.

President obama has claimed many times that the Automakers have fully repaid their loans, but the truth is the taxpayers are still on the hook for $41 million dollars.

The truth is that this president will say anything and blame anyone in his effort to refuse to take responsibility for the results of his failed policies.

The American People DESERVE HONESTY!

Obama's War on the Middle Class

They say the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Obama's liberal policies have been full of misguided intentions, with the typical disastrous results.

Cash for Clunkers, while producing no net economic gain, DID drastically increase the price of used vehicles, and used parts, severely impacting those who can not afford new cars.

Obamacare, While promised to allow you to keep your plan and doctor, and not ration care, will cause 30% of employers to drop coverage, and rationing lies at the heart of the plan.

Cap and trade, while billed as evironmentally friendly will, according to Obama, "cause the price of energy to skyrocket". Sorry Middle Class.

Obama's Outrageous spending and debt is a dagger aimed at the people, who are on the hook to pay it back.

Obama's EPA regulations continue to strangle job growth, harming the those people out of work.

Obama's unwillingness to pass a budget, reduce spending, curtail the growth of debt, or lead in any fashion, has an impact on every American.

Obama's Debt Bomb

Let me begin by declaring that, yes, Bush, too, was a profligate spender. Under Bush during Republican spending control from 2001- 2006, Republicans added $2.8 trillion to the debt. Under Democrat spending control, from 2007- 2008, Democrats added, another $2.2 trillion IN ONLY TWO YEARS.

BUT, under Obama the spending train has accelerated out of control. Under the combination of Obama's grandiose spending, and Democrat refusal to pass a budget, from 2009-2011, the Democrats have added another $5.4 trillion to an already bloated debt.

Here is some sobering math;

The GDP of the entire world in 2011 was $65 trillion. Our debt is equal to 24% of that. This means that just for us to maintain our debt, the rest of the world needs to agree to spend 24% of their combined GDP on keeping us alive. BUT it gets better. Obama's 2013 budget proposal called for 656 new spending programs adding another $533 billion in new spending, and another $11 trillion in debt over the next ten years. And this is assuming that his $1.5 trillion in tax hikes on EVERYONE gets approved.

This reckless proposal puts every man, woman, and child in America in danger. Should interest rates rise just 2% above their current artificially retarded 1.7%, the interest on our current debt, will increase to $788 billion per year. This will crowd out other spending effectively turning us into Greece.

The Obamacare wars

The presidents unconstitutional decree that religious organizations must put aside their First Amendment right to practice their religion without governmental interference, is merely the first salvo in the coming wars over Obamacare.

Let me be clear; THIS IS NOT ABOUT WOMEN'S HEALTH! No one is being DENIED contraception by their employer not providing it for free. And no one yet has given a compelling reason why birth control MUST be provided by the employer for free.

This is the first order under Obamacare directing someone to buy a product that the regime decrees you must have, at a price they decree it must be provided to you. For them it also has the delicious side effect of undermining those pesky moral teachings of the Catholic Church.

The president has no constitutional authority to force someone to buy a product, or to dictate price and availability. So his "compromise" is merely a lesser unconstitutional intrusion. he takes the ridiculous step of trying to appease the Church by removing their hands by one degree, instead of forcing THEM to hand out the abortion pill Ella, they will merely be forced only to pay for the insurer to hand it out. THAT is SOOOOO much better.

The unconstitutional overreach of this administration MUST BE STOPPED! If you do not stand up for this, there will be no one left to stand up when they decree how YOU must live your life.

The Road to Hell is paved with Liberals

Liberal programs while started with the best of intentions, have produced abysmal results.

LBJ's War on Poverty programs have cost this country $16 trillion over the last 46 years with no reduction in poverty. In Fact, MORE people are in poverty today than when the programs began.

Social Security is operated in a manner that, if it were the pension plan of an american corporation, would land the officers in prison. Witness Charles Ponzi. No corporation could spend it's workers pension contributions as they come in, then force younger workers to pay for the retirement of the older workers. Social Security was a wonderful way to get workers to LIKE sending tax money to the government. If it had TRULY been designed in the workers best interests, the money would have been invested, out of the hands of congress, in accounts which the worker owned, NOT congress, and it would have produced spectacular results for the worker, not the miniscule $22,000 or so, social security provides today.

Medicare has almost single handedly tripled the cost of basic health care services, with it's diminished reimbursements, it massive regulations, compliance, and paperwork demands, and all of the costs involved with that.

Welfare perverse rules discourage work, and encourage not only pregnancy, but babies without fathers to raise them. Welfare was intended as a temporary measure to help those workers who suffered temporary setbacks, but it's perverse incentive structure, has morphed it into a permanent career of dependency, with the average stay on Welfare, now being 12 years, and intergenerational.

the problem with ALL of these types of programs are that they ignore both basic economics and human nature, by creating perverse incentives that have produced MORE of what the programs were instituted to combat. It is time to review ALL of these to change them into something that ACTUALLY accomplishes the objective, rather than simply burning the taxpayers money on making liberal politicians feel good. It is easy to be generous with other people's money.
